Charles Michael Morris has been licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia since June 1990.
A native Georgian, Charles joined the U.S. Navy immediately upon high school graduation. He was trained by the Navy as a Aviation Hydraulics Technician and went on to ultimately rise to rank of Master Chief Petty Officer and was qualified as an Aviation Warfare Specialist. His last assignment was as the Command Master Chief or a VR aviation squadron. Charles retired from the Navy in June 1988. While in the Navy, Charles attended over numerous courses obtaining his certification covering both aircraft based and anti-submarine patrol Naval aircraft. He was selected to attend the Navy’s Senior Enlisted Academy at the Naval War College where he was class leader graduating with Military Excellence.
While stationed at the Naval Air Test Center in Patuxent River Maryland, Charles obtained his bachelors degree from the University of Maryland graduating Cum Laude in 1983.
In 1990 Charles graduated from Georgia State University’s College of Law and immediately passed the Georgia Bar. While attending GSU’s College of Law, Charles was the President of the Moot Court from 1988 – 1989; Member of the Southern Regional Moot Court Team in 1989 and the National Moot Court Team in 1989. Charles received the American Jurisprudence Award in Constitutional Law in 1989.
Charles is an instructor in the Paralegal Course with Chattahoochee Technical College’s North Metro Campus. He teaches paralegal students in Legal Research & Writing and in Technology in the Law Office.
Charles is admitted to the Georgia Bar and is admitted to practice in all Georgia Courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the 11th U.S. Court of Appeals.
